This is my second book I've read through the goodreads first reads giveaway program, and I continue to be impressed with what I've received. I really enjoyed this book of short stories about the relationships between mothers and daughters. The pieces that carried you through the Ruby-Nora saga were great. The author really gives you a feel for the characters. This book definitely made me interested in reading further works from Ms. Serber.
