Surprisingly boring for being about vivisection and the inherent animalistic nature of humanity. The book did not grab my attention or interest aside from the basic premise. There are animals being experimented on on an island. The protagonist isn't very interesting, and while some insightful points into human nature are made, the flow of the story was slow and telling was bland.
