For folks interested in public transportation, this book will satisfy. I found it interesting, although it felt tedious in spots. His chapter on Philadelphia, which he predicts will be the next great city, prompted me to revisit it soon and check out its public transportation. Living in NYC, I can attest to the fact that the diversity of people one finds on public transportation results in a dynamic city, which the suburbs and/or places that put a premium on auto transportation don't have.
