it was amazing
bookshelves: 2016, scandinavian-european-mystery

I really enjoyed this book. It begins with Emilie, an eight-year-old girl is kidnapped while walking home from school. Shortly thereafter a 2nd child, a young boy, is also kidnapped.
Adam Sturbo is the detective on the case. He sees Johanne Vik - a lawyer and FBI trained profiler on a TV show. Adam reaches out to Johanne to help him on the case.
Both of the main characters are well developed and portrayed with all of their past traumas and flaws. I am really looking forward to reading the next books in the series
