THE WAY WE FALL by Megan Crewe was a bag of mixed emotions for me, and I mean this in the best possible way. I was thrilled to get to read it before it was published on January 24th because Hyperion allowed me to grab it off of NetGalley. I can’t even tell you how glad I am that they approved me. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and asking for more. I cannot wait to read more about Crewe’s characters. Kaelyn was a gripping character that I found myself rooting for despite all of the heartache that was happening around her. It was extremely painful to watch so much of the loss and devastation happening, but Crewe is able to write this story with a line of hope even amidst the pain. I fell in love with Gav and I found myself rooting for this group of kids who were just trying to find their way in such a horrible turn of events. I found myself screaming at the governement to just help them! And I found myself freaking out everytime I had an itch or had to clear my throat. To say this book felt real to me while I was reading it would not do it justice. The “what if’s” kept me really wondering about them and that is the kind of book I love. I believe anyone who loved DELIRIUM and PANDEMONIUM by Lauren Oliver should definitely give this book a read. Published by Hyperion, I give it 4 out of 5 books.
