A fantastic read. I can't wait for Suetonius' next book! But seriously, this book was captivating from the start. The biographies themselves are by turns fascinating and appalling, but Suetonius' narrative is truly endearing throughout, no matter what the subject matter. I'm sure its liveliness is due in no small part to Robert Graves' translation, but hearty kudos across the ages to Suetonius either way.
