This is the best Sadie Hoffmiller mystery to date! In this installment, Sadie goes to Hawaii for some much needed downtime and healing from her last brush with danger. But it seems that Sadie cannot distance herself far enough from her propensity to become involved in crime solving, when she finds herself literally entangled with a dead body while snorkeling with a group of middle aged Hawaiian friends. Little by little, Sadie is pulled back into her "detective mode," and once again finds herself in mortal danger. I think one of the reasons I like Sadie so much is that she is not a young beautiful heroine, but is an upper middle aged, slightly overweight, very believable normal woman.
