So this one was a LOT better than the other Warriors mangas, but it still wasn't the best. The illustrations were not as good, but they were still okay and seemed to capture the characters well, although the portrayals were inconsistent with other mangas. Also, the markings were very bizarre. I mean, what sort of cat has black triangles above his eyes? It's just unrealistic. It was interesting to see another side of Tigerstar, who has been repeatingly portrayed as a villain. But Sasha thinks of him as a strong hero. We also hear Russetfur speaking about Tigerstar, which was another new and interesting perspective. My main issue with this book was that I thought it was too short (like all the mangas). Since it's the first part of a three-book trilogy, I would have to say the next two books (which aren't out at the time I'm writing this) should be combined with this one into one bigger manga story. But I did think that it was a good book overall, and I would recommend it to people who are curious about Tigerstar and Sasha's relationship from the main Warriors series. But if you're not interested, don't waste your money.
