Gaiman is awesome as always. His description and pacing are perfect and the characters leap off the page. This story follow Bod, a young boy who lives in a graveyard between life and death, from the time he's a young toddler. Bod's family was murdered and the killer is still out there looking for Bod, so he's forced to remain hidden in the graveyard, raised by ghosts and under the care of his vampire guardian. Even lady death has taken an interest in Bod :D

This book seriously rocked. My only quibble was I'd have like an ending that tied up more. I'm hoping that there's going to be a sequel because Gaimain certainly left it wide open. I'd love to read more about these characters and the book could have been twice as long and I'd still have adored it.
