Enjoyable dystopian YA, if a bit ... I won't say derivative, but perhaps bandwagonish. The central idea is quite interesting, but I didn't feel very well developed. I did like the protagonist (though she's another teenage girl without many defining characteristics except a lot of spunk) and the main love interest (who's actually a more intriguing character - I hope we learn more about him). I liked it enough to want to start in right away on the sequel (yes, damn it, it's the first of a trilogy).
