Blooded does exactly what any prequel worth their salt is supposed to do: make you want to read the first book of the series. Amanda Carlson packs a staggering amount of awesomeness into a minimal amount of pages; just enough to give readers a taste of what's to come and leave them thirsting for more.

I still barely know anything about Jessica but from what I've read, I do know that she's my kind of girl! She cuts straight through the bull and fights with her fists instead of her words. Not the most "mature" way of dealing with problems but then again, she lives with a werewolf pack so what do you expect!? Add to that the fact that she's overflowing with snark and I have my new favourite heroine. I really enjoyed this novella and have a feeling that I'll enjoy Full Blooded even more.

This could be the start of my newest werewolf addiction!
