I was so happy to see this on the "new" shelf at the library yesterday. And I may have stayed up a bit too late reading. :-)

I love the concept of making pantry foods, but I often feel so overwhelmed when I start thinking of all there is to make and don't know where to begin. Giving up, I end up purchasing the pre-made variety, which in order to get quality, often costs a small fortune.

I think, for me, this cookbook would be a great place to start. The author makes it sound simple with her clear directions. Plus, a lot of her recipes are things we like to eat. I think I'll add this book to my wish list.

Specifically brilliant to me are the frozen pizza, instant oatmeal, ketchup, mozzarella cheese recipes.
