Masterful writing. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is fantastic! The film may have received positive reviews, but the novel is SO MUCH BETTER! The book is much more in-depth and manages to find it's way into your emotions. For contrast, I read the book as soon as it came out, and loved it... it actually almost made me cry (which is an extreme rarity believe me). Compared to the film which not only lacked the details of the book, but felt almost boring to me. Anyway, the Deathly Hallows is, in my opinion, the best of all the Harry Potter books.

I recommend you read it even if you've already seen the movie; because if you do, there is no doubt in my mind that you will gain a greater appreciation for the beautifully woven-together Harry Potter finale.
