really liked it

I was fascinated by the depth of his knowledge on the history of secret societies and all of the medieval texts he quotes throughout. Extremely well-written and insightful. For me, it maintained a feeling of suspense and anticipation for basically the entire novel, which is 600+ pages long. So thats pretty remarkable. Some parts are slower and he does tend to get overly intellectual at times, but it didn't detract too much. All in all, a very enjoyable read.
