I won a copy on Goodreads Firstreads.
This is book 9 in the series. But it didn't feel like it.While it obviously had a backstory, I never felt like I had missed out on something.Just like meeting someone in real life, you know they have lived before knowing you.
Alex's best friend Vinnie goes missing.Alex gets more and more worried as he looks into Vinnie's dissappearance.Smugglers and drug dealers add to Alex's worries. He also has to deal with his feelings of being left out of the loop with the reservation life despite his friendship with Vinnie.
Great characters, lots of suspense and plenty of local color makes this a great read even if you are not familiar with the series.
