Here she goes, here she goes, here she goes again: tell me, what is her weakness? Men! Boy-crazy Stacey is in LUV once more, and this time she’s headed down a real bad road: a road of lies! You know how these things go: a white lie leads to a gray lie leads to a black lie leads to Trouble with a capital T. But it all works out in the end. This was a particularly fun BSC tome (I don’t thing I ever made it this far in the series when I was reading these in earnest), with lots of Stacey (obviously), Claudia, New York City, wacky outfits, boys, some food porn, minimal generic characters (have fun in California, Dawn!) and boring babysitting crap (although there is a subplot involving an inane feud).

Ah, nostalgia.

Featured quote from Leslie Patron: “What is her lie—‘I have the biggest sweet tooth!’?”
