really liked it
Read in October, 2008

genre: picture book
topic: international adoption
audience: k - 3rd
theme: family love, caring, acceptance
curricular uses: read aloud, independent reading
reading level: late early/ transitional
literary elements: alliteration, fairy tale language, dialogue
illustrations: really reinforce the text, making this an easier read even though there is a lot of text on many of the pages.
thoughts: the pictures are interesting and very colorful. I really like this book and i would read it to my students to explain international adoption.
