This book was absolutely nothing like the movie. I really liked it, but it wasn't quite as good as the first book, Bourne Identity.

This story takes place a while after the first one. Bourne has become a professor and is married to Marie, when one day she is kidnapped. In order to get her back, Bourne must go to Asia to track down an impostor posing to be Jason Bourne.

I really liked how Ludlum would seamlessly refer to the main character as either Webb, Bourne, or Delta, depending on what sort of mindset he had at the time. Each of these characters have distinct personalities.

As with the first book, the plot gets really twisted and becomes really intense. However, I thought that this one was a bit slower than the first book. And again like the first book, there is lots of cussing, so be warned. If you liked Bourne Identity, you will love this sequel.
