One Last Thing Before I Go, is the story of Silver who after finding out he has a life threatening but fixable condition, must figure out how to be a better father to his pregnant estranged daughter and how to be a better man.
I adore Jonathan Trooper. He’s at the top of my favorite author list. The way he brings humor to depressing situations never fails to impress me. His characters are funny and endearing and usually completely messed up. Although the situations he puts them in seem heightened they never seem so farfetched that you can’t identify with them.
Although the ending of this one drove me a little crazy I still loved every moment of this book. Especially Silver’s not so inner monologues.
This is a really good read. I highly recommend it!
