I read this short story right after finishing A.R Wise's Deadlocked series, which I loved! This author really has a knack for drawing you into a story immediately. This was a very well done short story that I thoroughly enjoyed given it only takes a few minutes to read. The only complaint I have is the same as stated in the other reviews, which is the author using both fiancee and wife in terms to describe his partner. Really just a minor thing that in no way takes away from the story.

A.R. Wise is an author to be reckoned with and I look forward to reading more of his work.
