No, no no no....

The only reason i finished the book was, as a... tribute to the series, of which i enjoyed immensely the first 9 or 10 books.Until Narcissus in Chains i couldn't get the books fast enough.I tried to prolong each and every page so that i wouldn't have to part with the story soon.

After book 10... well, it went downhill.

Now, i don't get the point.I just finished the book, and looking back, the only thing memorable is how insignificant -for me always- the story was.

Marshal Blake goes out hunting, faces prejudice due to her sexual orientation and the fact that she is the better man for the job, kills the bad, goes home, has some emotional angst, has great sex and gets to repeat and repeat and repeat until... all, or most of the bad guys are caught while she still saves the day of her bigger faster stronger men, or whatever....

Perhaps some readers find this review inaccurate, but honestly, for me that pretty much sums the book.

I hopped to say goodbye to Marshal Blake with a great series ending but i guess we can't always get what we wish... Right?
