***Warning*** This book is a gay m/m romance!

B&N Synopsis:

Someone from DSS Special Agent Taylor MacAllister’s past -- the past he doesn’t discuss with his partner and now-lover Will Brandt -- wants him scared. Dead scared. Or maybe just dead. Will fears the past will end a future romance. Or any future at all.

This book really held my interests, and in this book, unlike the one I reviewed earlier, the characterization was great. He really has a good idea of his characters, and I raced through it wanting to see how it ended. I haven't read the first book, because I didn't realize until later that this was the second book.

The suspense was great, but what I think was really well done was that other relationships - friendships, co-workers, etc. - were proved to be important as well as the main romance. Both Taylor and Will are likable, believable characters, and I was left wanting more. So I know that I will definately have to acquire and read the first book, Dangerous Ground!

I recommend this to anyone who likes good gay erotica!
