Characters--Guert Affenlight, President of Westish College
Pella, his daughter, returning home to rebuild her life
Mike Schwartz--a real jock, living his dream through Henry
Henry Skrimshander--a super talented college shortstop
Owen Dunne--Henry's gay roommate, teammate, an intellectual

Setting--Westish College in a small town in Wisconsin on shore of Lake Michigan

Plot--Set against a background of college baseball, these 5 characters interact and deal with problems which all began the day Henry through an errant ball that hit Owen in the dugout.

Review--About 150 pages too long. Too much baseball jargon. Unlikeable characters.
