And now I'm done with Sandman. This one's a pleasant enough fable about the power of love and sacrifice, with some nice, although not spectacular, watercolour illustrations. The Sandman presence is fairly tenuous. In fact, as Gaiman explains in the afterword, pretty much the whole story comes from a pre-existing Japanese folk tale.
