Very intriguing story of a young couple. The art is beautiful, and the narrative deep and ebbing, everything imbued with a deep, rich love of Islamic and Arabic influence. It's a nice break to read something that pays homage to Islamic and Middle Eastern culture from a western perspective, in a time where Islamophobia is at an all time high. This romantic fairy tale, dark as it may be, is very beautiful in its sad, rough way.
