An honest portrait of fatherhood and coming to grips with a child's abilities and disabilities. Bissinger's delightfully rendered accounts of his son's unexpected accomplishments, such as learning to ride a bike as cars "pass like sighs," are worth the price of the book. Since I'm a fellow rage-a-holic, I also found it encouraging that anger need not screw up our kids too much.
