Anna Frazier thought her life was over after losing her job due to downsizing. With no way to pay the rent on her enormous, city apartment, Anna takes her Grandparents up on their offer to use their summer cottage until she can get back on her feet. Anna was not used to life in the slow lane. Thankfully, she knew her situation was only temporary, just until she found a new job. Anna didn’t count on finding Cameron instead.
Cameron Mayfield had seen enough of life in the fast lane. He didn’t want to end up another casualty in the ranks of legal hell. Casting his line in the slow lane, Cam became caretaker to his parent’s camp and never looked back. That is, until Anna Frazier walked back into his life.
Childhood friends, Cam always thought Anna was much too bossy and intense for his liking. The adult Anna was no different, except for her smoking hot body and beautiful face. There was no way Cam was going to get caught up in the rat race again and that meant steering clear of annoying little Anna Frazier. If he hadn’t already promised her Grandparents he’d watch out for her, Anna would’ve just been a minor thorn in his side. Instead, she’d pierced his heart with her sexy, little ways. He knew it was only a matter of time before she would leave the camp, taking his heart with her.
Author, Shannon Stacey writes a beautiful love/hate relationship. Her characters are fresh and bold. The teasing romance urges you to turn page after page. This is a sizzling, hot summer read. You won’t be disappointed.
