I'm over halfway done with this book, and so far I am not impressed. The author obviously still has an identity crisis. It's obvious in the book. We black women can relate to the story, but her writing style needs work, and she constantly says how pretty she is. Where's the meat here? She could have done better than this bland account filled with stereotypes and drivel.
