There is something about this series that is so addicting. Even when I'm nitpicking as I'm reading, I still can't put it down. There were a few times where I felt lost in the conversation and found myself actually flipping back to see if I missed something. Spotty editing or just a side effect of having two authors, I couldn't say. (view spoiler) There was more of a romantic element this time which I personally appreciated. It was just as action packed as the first with plenty of gadgets but I found myself waiting in anticipation of the romantic elements which is probably why I couldn't put it down.

On a side note: I don't read many books by male authors, at least not of this genre, and I'm not entirely sure I like knowing the inner workings of the male mind. It's a bit of a turn off. Every time a man felt his pants stir, I kind of wished I was a lesbian.
