was very good reading from the preperations in england, thru the voyage, the logs, and the pilgrams struggle for their landing, settlement, thru first thanksgiving, right thru to king phillips war.it tells truths we weren't taught in school about the purtians, their treaty with the indians, forming their colonial army from mass, conn.and maine.invading rhode island a nuetral state.the purtians breaking treaty with metacoma(king phillips)the execusion of my great uncle joshua tefft for treason, exonerated of blame thru historians, of crimes he was wrongly accused of..the capture and killing of metacoma.include family genelogy.used to cross reference mayflower decedants in my ancestry linage research thru ancestry .com.
