This is a great collection of interwoven stories centered on the fictional small town of Silent Hill. While the comic does not follow any of the particulars of the video games, it does retain the horror aspects and the sense of the town being a center of power and evil. As the collection progresses, characters from previous tales become recurring figures, with their history now permanently part of Silent Hill's present and future. Another recurring aspect is the attempt to control Silent Hill and the question does an individual have any chance of controlling his/her life. Choice is integral to all the stories.
