bookshelves: read-in-2012, all-time-favorites
Read from June 02 to July 23, 2012

Despite not having my beloved Imp or Jon Snow as main characters, I really enjoyed this book. Sansa actually managed to grow on me, and yes, I am now a fan of Jamie Lannister. Yet another book of loss, as some characters died- I would say unexpectedly, but how can I be surprised any more with Martin's books? Every time I feel sure that my favorites won't get slaughter, they do. I did like not having to read about Dani's point of view, although where before my allegiance was to Robb Stark, I wouldn't mind the Tarygerean Dragons setting fire to King's Landing, as long as Cersei is among the kindling. There are still so many character's who's fate is left up in the air, and I am fervently praying for the good health of George R.R. Martin, so that he may deliver us the rest of the books in the series. On to book 5!
