Read from March 02 to 04, 2012 — I own a copy, read count: 1

This is the begining to an Epic tale of human survival in the worst of conditions. The zombies are not the main story, the people in the story who have to try and stay alive while being chased by the Zombies are the focus. Obivously the author (Robert Kirkman) not only watched a lot of Zombie movies to learn about zombies, he watched them and thought "What is missing? What makes the zombie movies interesting? What would make them more interesting and believeable?" He definatley answered those question in this book and the ones that have followed.
I will be buying these books (and the DVD Series) as they come out. The artwork is fantastic, the stories, characters, and emotions deep and believeable.

This is more than a "Zombie book" it is an examination of the human psychie and the human condition. Love, hate, fear, joy, are all the ups and downs you will experience on this roller coaster of emotions and action.

Thank you Robert Kirkman for your dedication to an awesome creation.
