I dunno. I definitely liked The Know-It-All best of the books I've read by this author. This one was an interesting topic but covered without depth of topic and at such frantic pace that none of the content stuck with me a few weeks later. I hardly remember anything in it (except that part about healthy defecation -- who could forget?).

But I think I liked Jacobs himself better after reading this one: he comes across as more likeable, perhaps because he makes himself so vulnerable (eg, included not-too-flattering photos of himself). However, his wife sounds hilarious -- it takes a strong man to show that.

Alayna I'm reading this one right now and agree with your review so far. All of his books portray his wife as someone I would want to become my friend.
