** spoiler alert ** I really liked this book up until a few major plot points came in:

1. When Jane tells Lucy that she (and Byron) are vampires, I found it quite unbelievable that she just accepts it so easily. Granted, Byron had already spilled the beans, but still. From the text, it doesn't seem like it was a shock to her then, either. I would think she'd be at least a little bit taken aback or scared or just unable to accept it as true.

2. The situation with Farrah. The fact that Jane would simply stash Farrah's body under the bed and go shopping for her interview was more ridiculous than I could handle. I was pleasantly surprised with the resolution of the situation (Charlotte, etc.), but that whole scene just rubbed me the wrong way.

Overall, I was entertained by the book. I loved Jane's wit and I'm always a fan of stories set in or around book shops.
