I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway! Nate Overlay the main character is overwhelmed by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after seeing his men and best friend Charles killed in action. Upon returning home, this impacts his interaction with his wife and daughter to the point that he leaves. He is now, in addition, diagnosed with a fatal condition ALS. He decides to end his life by jumping to his death from a 11th-story ledge. This is cut shut by a gruesome bank robbery that he witnesses and involves himself in by killing five of the six robbers. This is where the story really begins, a thriller that matches Nate's wits to ultimately save his family with Pavlo an Ukrainian criminal who will go to any length, including having his men unmercifully kill anyone who stands in his way. Many layers to this book, has profanity and graphic murder scenes depicted. Loved the plot and ending. Great book! Movie material!
