So I saw this book years ago at Barnes and Noble. This was back in the middle school days when my parents still thought I was deeply disturbed for liking vampires, so I obviously couldn't get it. On the first spring break road trip without my parents, I saw it (cheap) at Powell's. So I bought it, relishing the idea of reading it.
Once again, my middle school self is at odds with my current self.
I don't know, I always hyped it up to be a story about a girl who finds an actual vampire on the internet, spooky suspense fantasy awesome-stuff. Instead, I got a story about a whiny diabetic whose going through her rebellious phrase. It's not an awful book (hence why it gets a fair three stars) but I'm over whiny teenager angst. So thanks but no thanks.
