Little zebra Zee is frustrated when his parents won't let him stay up late and watch a scary movie with them. Back in bed he accidentally kicks a hole in his bedsheets, so he decides to become a ghost. After scaring the bejeezus out of his parents, Zee heads back to his bedroom. He wonders where his parents are. They aren't anywhere he can find them.

Unbeknownst to Zee, his parents are tiptoeing back to his bedroom. Suddenly there is a noise outside his room! Zee grabs his laser light but then he trips and breaks it. He runs back to his bed and hides under the sheet. Mama and Daddy eventually find him and tickle him to make sure it is there Zee. Zee encourages them back to bed but stays with them so that they won't be afraid of the ghost in the house.
