Spring Fever is a fun read, but ultimately somewhat unsatisfying. Annajane Hudgens is a likeable character but not one we get to know very well. Clearly, we're supposed to root for her to reunite with her ex-husband, Mason Bayless, and their love story from the past is sweet. But the pace of the novel drags and what's supposed to be a cute story begins to feel somewhat bogged down. Still, it's entertaining to read about Celia's antics and about the various members of the Bayless clan and the secrets that inform their actions. (Please note that I received an ARC from NetGalley.)
