I adore Jen Lancaster. If she weren't a Republican, she and I would totally be best friends. One of the things that is so engaging about her memoirs is her humbleness and how much I can identify with her. The thing is, I found it harder to identify with her in this book. She is no longer the Jen Lancaster that I know and love. She is successful and a little bit famous, even. As such, she has cleaning ladies, a guy who takes care of her roses and a huge house in the 'burbs. I don't begrudge Jen her success or fame; it's just getting harder to identify with her. At any rate. Read this book. You'll love it.
