While there are very few characters from Kate's world that I wouldn't want to see star in their own book, Andrea has a special place in my heart. She is so broken, yet she tries so hard. It's good to see her finally come into her own in this book.

I have to admit, early in the book I was firmly on team Anyone-but-Raphael. He's an ass in the beginning of the book, perhaps with good reason, perhaps not. Both he and Andrea have a lot of issues to work through, and seeing that play out was one of the high points of the book.

It was nice to see Andrea begin the healing process. She struggles and fights, and finally figures out who she wants to be and what she wants to do with her life. (view spoiler)[I'm interested to see what happens in the future with her being Beta to Aunt B. (hide spoiler)]

Also, Roman: OMG, one of my favorite side characters ever. I hope we see more of him in the future.

Finally, as usual with Ilona and Gordon's books, I got to the end both satisfied at a story well told, and wishing there was more so I could keep reading indefinitely.

Sarah ♥ Vutch forever ♥ She ends up with Raphael? I was hoping for something less predictable.

I wouldn't exactly call it predictable. :) I was pulling for Roman, but the way the book is written, I'm glad it was Raphael in the end.

Sarah ♥ Vutch forever ♥ Well, I think it was clear pretty early in the series that this would be the end result.

True, I was more thinking about their relationship in this book. :)

Sarah ♥ Vutch forever ♥ Ah, okay. I have to wait a bit until I can read it.
