This one was a little dreamy. As in, there were sequences of events that seemed to only make sense if they were in a dream. Very interesting to set the last half of the book against the background of the fall of Phnom Penh and Saigon, but that's all they were -- background. I don't know enough about those two events, but it seems amazing that a British journalist could, at the last minute, just hop on scheduled flights in and out of two southeast Asian cities that were about to be overrun by Communist guerrillas
