An absorbing psychological mystery, Tana French's second book, The Likeness, features Cassie, a character from French's first book, In The Woods. In The Likeness, Cassie goes undercover as Lexi, a murder victim who looks so much like Cassie they could have been twins. Cassie lives with Lexi's friends, all of whom are suspects in her murder. Deeply creepy and unsettling, but - unlike in In The Woods - there is a resolved ending.
