So admittedly I read this book long after being a first time Mom, but I thought it was great! I wish that I had read it before having our first little one, however it is still a worthwhile read after having babies. It has given me some things to ponder and has helped me to have a fresh perspective on what I'm doing by staying home with my kiddos. It is easy to lose sight of the main goal while buried 6 feet deep in all that goes on in running & maintaining a home and family. Truthfully, this is a great read for anyone with little kids - not just those that stay home. The author tries to be fair in laying out the many options when he discusses the daily care of your child, and throughout the book. An easy read, with a very mild Christian focus.
