it was amazing

Wow. This was at turns terrifying and poignant. It deals with the aftermath of a double murder, and some of the passages are told from the killer's cold and calculating point of view. Others are told from the perspective of kids who knew the murdered girls and are shaken to the core by the deaths. This is a dark tale - it's loosely based on real events but with fictionalized characters. And just like real life, everything is not neatly tied up and all better at the end. But it was also completely gripping - I absolutely couldn't put it down.
