Moose is so excited for when it is his turn in the alphabet line-up. He keeps interrupting to see if it is his turn. "D is for Moose." So the Duck has to hide behind the stage where he should be while the Zebra has to tell Moose "Moose does not start with D. You are on the wrong page." Then Moose is so excited waiting for his page that he has to hide behind the ice cream (and on every other page). Then comes the "M" page where "Mouse" is chosen instead. Moose throws a tantrum.

I liked the book. It was fun to read. But it also would be hard to do in a storytime. A good book for reading to kiddos who know the alphabet well enough to think it is funny when something doesn't work for the particular letter. But unless you were on a lap, you would find it hard to see the owl, pie, or queen when the Moose really throws his tantrum.
