I've looked for this book a long time. Working my way through Newberrys.
This book is very much a product of its times. Written in the moralistic 'precious' style of the 20s. Plot is rather thin.
-However- the descriptions of Poland and Krakow in particular were Wonderful. It's worth reading this book for those alone !
