ROOM is one of the most compelling novels I have ever read. I started reading it one night after dinner and read two-thirds of the book before I went to bed. The narrative voice is incredible -- creative and captivating -- and the characters' circumstances are such that you are compelled to read on to find out what happens to them next. This novel deserves every award it won and then some. Masterful.

Tamye Hi Ann,

I'm so glad you like this book. It's one of my all-time favourites and have made it one of my Staff Picks at work. If you liked it, you should try The Land of Decoration by Grace McCleen. It's also narrated from a child's perspective; this time from ten-year-old Judith McPherson. I really liked it.
