it was amazing

I like the world within this man's poetry. It's the everyday nonsense mixed with the anything-is-possible-but-not-precious consideration. His light heart makes for some damn amusing observations of people's interactions, though I wish it had been slightly less ridiculous with its casual conversation of nothing. You can tell jokes without goofing off, I guess. But this collection reads hopeful, lovely and surreal. It's not as much real life as it is the world that we'd love to find out existed somehow. It's butterflies in the kitchen, palm trees in the living room and hope in every heart. I dug it with just about everything I got in me, especially my grin.
