it was amazing

It has the typical love story that all of Danielle Steel's novels have, but it was cool because it also tells a story about the girl's son who was born deaf. He has to go to a special school that he lives at as if he were in college. He learns how to communicate with the outside world and becomes very good at reading lips, so good that if whoever he's talking to doesn't know sign language he can still talk with them just by reading their lips. I thought it was a really cool book and it gave me a sense of hope I guess since I am hearing impaired and my hearing constantly drops. It makes the prospect of going death seem less scary (although I definitely still hope that's something I never have to face...)
